About the role Overall purpose of the role: The purpose of this role is to support accountability and CFM (Complaints and Feedback Mechanism) activities within the MEAL team in the Aden office through a learning and hands-on experience approach. The intern will be trained on accountability practices and data collection processes, and will gradually apply this knowledge to support ongoing activities. Through this practical exposure, the intern will contribute to maintaining continuity of work and help address operational gaps during the Accountability Assistant’s leave. This non-managerial position operates under the overall supervision of the MEAL Team Leader, with technical support from the Country Office Accountability Officer. The intern will support the development and implementation of the DRC Yemen MEAL framework, with a focus on accountability to beneficiaries and target groups. Responsibilities include supporting hotline/toll-free operations, receiving, documenting, and processing feedback and complaints through various channels, as well as assisting in other MEAL activities such as verification, assessments, evaluations, and monitoring tasks as assigned by the line manager. Main responsibilities: Responsible for receiving complaints and feedback from beneficiaries on the hotline, toll-free, feedback boxes and/or any newly instituted feedback channels in addition to ensuring that any sensitive feedback received are coded to the CFM database/system. Ensure the timely entry of all feedback received from beneficiaries/stakeholders into the CFM database and direct the feedback to the MEAL TL and MEAL Officer AAP for following up if needed. Ensure escalation of serious complaints (such as Code of Conduct violations and SEA violations) through the required channel. Under the direct supervision of MEAL Team Leader/Country Accountability Officer, coordinate with the MEAL and program field staff to compile any feedback received through the feedback channels which associated with the suggestion boxes, and ODM/PDM activities. Follow data protection protocols and steps. Implement protocols for data protection, storage, sharing, and security in the area of responsibility to ensure data is stored in safely and confidentially. Follow accountability and ethical standards in everyday work, including a commitment to AAP, PSEA and non-discriminatory service provision. Support in reviewing and translating the MEAL surveys/assessments. Submit the CFM database/report on a weekly and monthly basis to the MEAL Officer - AAP /MEAL Team Leader/MEAL Manager Perform other duties as assigned by MEAL Team Leader. This may include supporting with MEAL activities such as verification, baseline/endline surveys, PDMs, PSMs, etc. Experience and technical competencies: Skills and Experiences: Experience in the similar job with national/international NGOs, public. About the role Overall purpose of the role: The Cash Consortium of Yemen (CCY) and UNHCR, as members of the Yemen Cash and Markets Working Group (CMWG) De-Duplication Steering Committee—alongside OCHA and IOM—are implementing a centralized deduplication platform to support interoperability, strengthen data integrity, and enable more effective delivery of MPCA, while upholding agreed data protection standards. The platform hosts multi-agency personal data and therefore requires robust governance arrangements, strong technical management, and rigorous security oversight. The Deduplication Platform System Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day operation, maintenance, and development of the platform. The role ensures secure hosting, optimal performance, timely troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams and partners to guarantee system reliability and compliance with UNHCR data protection and Yemen CMWG De-Duplication Steering Committee-agreed policies. The incumbent will be hired by the Cash Consortium if Yemen but will be seconded to UNHCR and technically report to the Information Management Officer / ICT Officer / Relevant Manager and works closely with HQ technical units, including DIMA, DIST, and Protection Data teams within UNHCR. He/she will also work closely with Yemen CMWG co-chairs, including CCY, IOM, and OCHA. The incumbent will: Serve as the primary technical focal point for the Yemen deduplication platform.
